We have spent a lot of time on these tutorials and hope they are of benefit to you. Click on the video tutorial links below to see how simple it really is.

I especially want to point out the Craigslist template generator tutorial below. The Craigslist template generator is a new feature to PublicRealty.org. Basically, it takes the content from your listing and generates html code for you to paste into listings on other sites such as Craigslist, Ebay and other sites that permit html markup.

According to this blog post, the author suggests real estate prices have only fallen 30% of what they will fall in the near future. Is there another 70% drop ahead? If you are a buyer or an investor, you hope it does. If you are a seller, you are holding your breath!

My wife and I have been working on getting our finances in order….budgeting…paying off debt…etc. With this new “cut corners” mentalitiy, I started looking at the current interest rates and thought about refinancing our house. We are currently on a 30 year fixed at 6.82% rate. We talked with our bank. They mentioned a lower 5% interest rate for 15 years. Our monthly payments will still go up, but according to my math ( and online amortization calculators ) it is only about $180 a month. I will save over $110,000 throughout the life of the mortgage.

As we have hit hard times in the market, the time has come for homeowners that are looking to sell their property to think creatively. If their home is just sitting on the market, they should begin considering Rent to Own. A Rent to Own would immediately free them from their payments by having a qualified tenant buyer in the home that makes monthly payments, does repairs, and takes good care of their home as if it were their own, as at some point in the near future, it just may well be if they decide to exercise an option to purchase the home at a predetermined price and during a predetermined period of time.
