I recall using chloroform to remove this ink when I worked in a medical laboratory. Can anyone tell me if this would work on fabric and if the chloroform would dissolve the fabric? Magic Eraser Completely removed my lovely Mural (not just scribbles) of Black permanent marker that cascaded down 2 flights of stairs.. I had to use a couple of markers and a BIG Bottle of solvent but SOOO worth it.....YOu can use the solvent alone but you have to use a bit more elbow grease, my heart could handle after finding my lovely art work and 2 days until guest arrive!!!!! Thanks for the tips!!! worked way better then the toothpaste WOW,
